Within the paper, as an internal citation, you would cite the source where you found the quotation and mention who said it. For example:
Smith (2012) quotes Jones as saying "Happiness is a choice that requires a paradigm shift." [APA]
Smith quotes Jones as saying "Happiness is a choice that requires a paradigm shift" (154). [MLA]
In this example, it would only be necessary to cite the source that Smith wrote in the Works Cited / References list.
